Functional Hypertrophy 1

This program is a fun, challenging and rewarding one for those willing to work hard and recover well (allow deload weeks). This particular program is designed for myofibril hypertrophy (developing contractile proteins-hence functional). This targets the myofibrils of the muscle cell to increase in size or number. As a result this will make you stronger, more powerful, and increasing your muscle mass. Typically this method of training can be seen in the pre-season of some sports (strength-power sports).
